During October 18th and 19th, the MCC Science and Technology Department organized and held the Central and Eastern China Regions International Standardization Special Subject Training Conference in Wuhan and Ma’anshan, held by CFMCC and MCC17. It was attended by relevant principals and experts of related subsidiaries of MCC in the Central and Eastern China regions responsible for international standardization work.
The purpose of this special training was to further carry out the spirit of the 39th International Organization of Standardization (ISO) General Assembly Conference, further improve the Group's international standardization work ability, provide better technology services for the globalization of metallurgy technology, engineering technology and equipment, and strongly support MCC to become China's 'national team of metallurgical construction, the main force of infrastructure construction and the pacesetter of emerging industries, insisting on taking the road of high-tech construction road in the long term'. The four speakers of this training conference were respectively: Standardization Administration International Cooperation Department International Organization Office Director Li Dongfang, IOS Rare Earth Technical Committee (ISO / TC298) Secretary General Gao Lan, Xi'an Electric Furnace Institute Co., Ltd. Assistant General Manager Li Kun, and MCC Wuhan Metallurgy Research Institute Co., Ltd. General Engineer Peng Yuntao. These four speakers explained how enterprises participate in international standardization work from different perspectives, including such contents as the development trends and technical work programs of international standardization activities, the main process of pushing the establishment of the ISO Technical Committee (TC), the main experience and feelings of the Xi’an Electric Institute's international standardization work, and the progress of international standard-making for the refractory slurry heating permanent linear change rate.
This training conference met all expectations, won the positive affirmation of the attendees and provided precious experience for related subsidiaries in their participation in international standardization work.
