On November 7th, in order to popularize fire control safety knowledge among the staff, advance their emergency capacity for dealing with fires, and prevent and contain the occurrence of fire accidents, the Shanghai Baoye Group issued a notice on developing the '119' fire control publicity week activity, themed 'Eliminate hidden fire dangers and commonly build a safe community' throughout the whole company.
The leading group of this activity includes General Manager Bai Xiaohu as the group leader, Deputy General Manager Yue Wenyan as the deputy group leader, and the deputy general managers and project managers in charge of fire control safety of various second-level units and principals of various functional departments as the group members. It is necessary for various units to boost the fire control safety knowledge of their staff by carrying out various publicity activities, and enhance their fire control emergency disposal capacity by developing such project exercise activities as initial extinguishing, rescue and escape. Competent units invited fire control safety professionals to hold an evacuation and escape activity, and explain the relevant knowledge of fire control common sense. It is necessary to carry out the self-examination, identification and correction of hidden fire dangers, organize a special fire control inspection focusing on construction work zones and office living zones, emphasize seeking and eliminating fire hazards which break the rules and regulations of the workplaces, as well as existing hidden fire dangers and the illegal occupation of office accommodation emergency exits and evacuation exits, and inspect the daily maintenance work of various fire control facilities and equipment, and the implementation of fire control measures of projects under construction. In addition, the Group will organize and develop special fire control safety inspections of key departments on the basis of the self-inspection of various units.
