The Ramu Ni-Co Project in Papua New Guinea is one of the projects with the most advanced equipment and technology in the world. It is also the largest overseas investment project of MCC at present. Therefore, it has been highly praised by the high-level authority of the local government and owners, and has established a good brand image of China MCC. The friendly and cooperative relationship between China and Papua New Guinea gives MCC confidence to continue to invest in Papua New Guinea. MCC will continue to give full play to the advantages of technology integration and management in the whole metallurgical industry chain, accelerate the overall upgrading of the Ramu Ni-Co project, and contribute to the benefit of the local society.
Zeng Fanhua said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Papua New Guinea, the two sides have witnessed sustained and steady development of bilateral relations, and the practical cooperation between the two countries in various fields has yielded fruitful results, bringing tangible benefits to the people of both countries. MCC is a responsible central enterprise that stresses politics and takes into account the overall situation. It is unique in the fields of metallurgical construction and mineral resources development.
