On September 15, Huangshi held the centralized commencement ceremony of the fifth batch of major projects and key projects jointly constructed by the central and local governments in 2022. Qie Yingcai, Secretary of CPC Huangshi Municipal Committee, Wu Zhiling, Deputy Secretary of CPC Huangshi Municipal Committee and Huangshi Mayor, and Zhang Mengxing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of MCC, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of China MCC, attended the event. There are 105 major projects jointly constructed by the central and local governments, with a total investment of CNY35.79 billion, including the centralized development and construction project in the eastern area of the core area of Daye Lake, with the participation of CFMCC, and the Ecology-Oriented Development (EOD) project in the Huangshi section of the Yangtze River, with the participation of China MCC17.
Zhang Mengxing pointed out in his speech that MCC has long attached great importance to cooperation with Huangshi, and 13 subsidiaries of MCC have carried out business in Huangshi, serving the local economy and making positive contributions to the economic and social development of Huangshi. The large scale, far-reaching impact and rapid implementation of these projects have milestone significance in the history of cooperation between the two sides. With the responsibility and mission always kept in mind, CFMCC and China MCC17 should earnestly operate and construct these projects well. Relying on the projects under construction, they should actively fulfill the "two responsibilities" of economy and society, produce high-quality products, benefits, and popular support, and show the strength and role of central enterprises in improving the ecological environment along the river and reshaping the urban development pattern.
Zhang Mengxing said that MCC and Huangshi are of one blood in foundation, industry and demand. MCC will further deepen the implementation of "central and local co-construction", continue to increase investment in Huangshi, support and respond to the strategic guidance of CPC Huangshi Municipal Committee and Municipal Government, and give full play to its advantages, so that the two sides, in the area development, urban renewal, Yangtze River protection, mine management and ecological restoration, industrial development, financial services and other aspects, can have a deeper, broader and higher level of cooperation with Huangshi, jointly create a new model of win-win cooperation between the central and local governments, and help Huangshi"s high-quality development.
