On the morning of September 25, Zhang Mengxing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of MCC and Secretary of the Party Committee and President of China MCC, met with Yang Jun, Deputy Secretary of CPC Xianning Municipal Committee and Xianning Mayor of Hubei Province, at the MCC headquarters. Zhang Mengxing expressed his gratitude to CPC Xianning Municipal Committee and Municipal Government for their strong support to MCC for a long time, and introduced the basic situation of MCC. He said that in recent years, MCC has successfully transformed by virtue of its strong technical advantages in iron and steel metallurgy, and has made outstanding achievements and accumulated rich experience in municipal infrastructure, rail transit, high-end housing construction, ecological and environmental protection, theme parks, waste incineration, etc. Xianning has obvious traffic location advantages, superior ecological environment, and huge development potential. Yang Jun thanked MCC for its warm reception, and briefly introduced the economic and social development of Xianning. He said that Xianning is an important area in the strategic planning of the "two-vertical and two-horizontal economic zones" and the "two circles and one belt" in Hubei, and is the geographical center of the economic zones in the three provincial capitals of Wuhan, Changsha, and Nanchang. At present, focusing on the positioning of "natural ecological park city in Wuhan urban agglomeration," Xianning actively promotes the renewal and construction of high-quality and high-standard urban pipe network and municipal infrastructure.
