The "13th Five-Year Plan" National Key R&D Program NQI Special "Research on Key National Quality Infrastructure (NQI) for Prevention and Control of Low-concentration Atmospheric Pollutants of Steel Industry and the Application Demonstration" undertaken by the Central Research Institute of Building and Construction (CRIBC) successfully passes the performance evaluation on February 16.
Through testing, inspection and monitoring, certification and accreditation, measurement, standard, informatization and demonstration application, the Program makes major breakthrough in technical difficulties of the prevention and control of low-concentration atmospheric pollution in the steel industry and removes the systemic bottlenecks of quality infrastructure such as difficulties in sampling low-concentration atmospheric pollutants, insufficient inspection and monitoring accuracy, out-of-sync measurement methods and standards, and unsatisfactory implementation effects. It develops a common technology research and application mode of national quality infrastructure, generates remarkable economic and social benefits, and has a broad prospect for application. The implementation of the Program is of great significance to the prevention and control of low-concentration air pollution and the greening and sustainable development of the steel industry.
CRIBC program teams will modify and improve the program self-assessment report and scientific report according to the requirements of the expert group, and increase coordination to pass the comprehensive performance evaluation on the Program.
